We will start our meetings by mentioning the project's Antitrust Policy, which you can find linked from the LF and project websites. The policy is important where multiple companies, including potential industry competitors, are participating in meetings. Please review and if you have any questions, please contact your company legal counsel. Members of the LF may contact Andrew Updegrove at the firm Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the LF.

Operations (40 minutes)

TSC Activities and Deadlines

@Byung-Woo Jun

  • ONAP individual component maturity level status

    • ONAP was a platform and we did not pursue individual component status externally

    • Now, ONAP is a collection of network automation functions

    • There is a question for the CPS maturity level from Fujitsu

    • Let's discuss its procedures, policies and steps

      Choose ONAP component maturity by TSC voting
      CPS, Policy, AAI, CCSDK, SDN-C, CPS, CDS, DCAEGEN2, OOM, Portal-NG, SDC, SO, UUI)

      TSC voting : CPS project is "mature"; TSC approved it on May 16; TSC will add it to New Delhi release note

Release Status

@Byung-Woo Jun

  • New Delhi RC date change (May 16 → 23) and Sign Off (June 6 → 13)

  • Project Milestone Status, New Delhi Milestone Status

  • New Delhi project branch ("newdelhi") creation for components with the following rules:

    • Code branch still goes with the marketing (e.g., newdelhi)

    • If a project does not have any change (e.g., not active, no PTL), there is no branch change; if necessary, create dummy branches

    • Likewise, helm chart versioning is needed for active projects only. If there is no project change, they can stay at the old helm chart versions

      • The new OOM scripts (thanks to Andreas) support this

Oslo schedule changes ? Release Planning: Oslo. (Kick off : May 30)

  • TSC Voting plan for the Oslo schedule on May 23th.

RelEng/Infrastructure

ONAP Insights updates? Jessica/sandra will update this next week

Nephio SBOM support by LF IT (ask Jessica for her insight)

PTL Updates

@Paweł Pawlak

  1. Recommended packages upgrades are available on the restricted Wiki. Jiras are created per project.

    Need to check NG Portal status CLM jobs. Any update? @Jessica Gonzalez , ongoing.

@Fiete Ostkamp to provide an update about implementation progress.
Update from @Fiete Ostkamp :

Ticket opened by Fiete: https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/plugins/servlet/desk/portal/2/IT-26527

ongoing; Jessica and Fiete are discussing this.

Still no feedback from Dan Timony.

Need to update AAI to get rid of DMaaP dependency - Work in Progress - ETA by RC date.

Subcommittee Updates

Arch, Lab, Modeling, Seccom, Requirements

  • ARCCOM plan for Oslo (lightweight ONAP with AI/ML) - Work in progress

  • O-parent removal is proposed for Oslo (Ericsson might present their experience in near future)

OOM Update

@Andreas Geißler

  1. OOM Update

    • Most patches are in. One issue with SDNC, to be consulted with Dan. @Dan Timoney  will contact Andreas to resolve it.

    • merging and gating for open patches and testing... It is a work in progress but we don't expect major issues for RC

Operations

@Byung-Woo Jun

@Tony Hansen

  • Some of ONAP Zoom meeting host keys are expiring. Need to resolve this issue for PTL to manage their meetings.

    • Move to new lfx ONAP Zoom links, like TSC and PTL?

    • Sandra said, "I can put the meetings in the LFX tool, PCC and assign the host code to a community member. That is what I will do." Sandra and I plan to test new zoom links next Tuesday and will let TSC and PTLs know.

  • IT-26221 Lost functionality when moving to zoom-lfx.platform.linuxfoundation.org

    • With the zoom URLs that we used to use, we were able to append “&uname=your%20NAME%20%28COMPANY%29” to the URL to override your zoom’s default name settings. This was particularly handy since I have my own zoom license and use zoom for several other activities. So with “&uname=…” when going to ONAP meetings, my name would automatically be set up per the ONAP conventions for naming on zoom calls.

  •

    •

      Jessica will check the IT ticket.
