Removal of ESR UI, ESR Server from Istanbul Release

  • SECCOM Reviewed different use cases that were usually initially ESR UI/ESR Server. Use cases are using AAI (instead of ESR UI/ESR Server). Request to the TSC to remove these components from the Istanbul Release - these will also be removed from OOM Istanbul deployment. Note that these sub-projects were already in an 'unmaintained" state.
  • #AGREED ESR UI/ESR Server is to be removed from ONAP beginning with Istanbul

ToDo:

  • OOM team to remove ESR from helm charts
    • Plan:  Sylvain to prepare patch. Krzysztof will approve patch when he returns from holiday.
  • Also remove health check, if necessary
  • Update documentation
    • Thomas to review documentation and propose changes regarding removal of ESR

Status update for Global Requirement (https://jira.onap.org/browse/REQ-863):

Thank you all the project taking part of recommended packages upgrades.

All other projects not compliant with this requirement will have issues with SECCOM acceptance to be part of the Istanbul release.

Honolulu Maintenance

Istanbul Release (M3 - 8/26):

  • CLI, MultiCloud Best practices & GR Commitments have been provided
  • IP August Scanning
  • Good progress on the Integration Blockers
    • Existing filters on Jira query may need to be corrected
    • Questions about some GPLv3 images - unsure if module is actually being used by anyone
    • Lots of DCAE patches that we will be looking at these - not deployed in gating by default - need to be run manually
  • Istanbul Milestone Status – <1% closed ???
    • 96 of 110 jiras still open
    • Any blocker/issue/risk?

Note that Steve Winslow released the latest license scan report today.
