Modeling Documentation
Jira created:
MODELING-337: Improve documentation for approved modelsClosed
comment:
bullet 3 refers to the relationship discussion, which is of different level compared with others
Xu will create a dedicated Jira task to capture the discussion for improvement of relationship classes in Papyrus
Michela will propose her suggestion next week about this issue
documentation of the approved models
Jacqueline has created a wiki page ONAP Information Model - Clean and approved models across ONAP releases including all the clean models
observation:
R2 may be obsolete
the existing clean models could be overlapped, new proposals substitute old ones (or in other words, old clean models are no longer "clean")
a classification/categorization/grouping may be needed
do we need to show each delta/enhancement proposals (probably not)
suggestion:
after something approved, a gendoc should be created for the sub model and the model editors would use that to update the clean model page
asking the contributor to create the gendoc maybe too much effort for them, model editors may help
how to show relationship between sub models, or to reduce overlap between sub models, e.g., root model with VNF / PNF models
provide links to other sub models?
provide guidelines for sub model editors to avoid breaking other related sub models
Jacqueline will help update the wiki page and come up with a proposal for process improvement
