Summary of the DDF
Material:
Minutes:
Agenda bashing:
VES spec
a further update is made, adding a new domain
Kevin has update the model to reflect the new domain, will submit a commit later this week
the modeling team will still wait for the spec to be stable
PNF instance model
2 issues:
1) papyrus have some corrupt errors, will contact Kevin for the details in email
2) there are two PNF instances in the current model (onboarding model and root model), which one is the "real" PNF instance
onboarding model is an early model; root model is approved, while the gold classes are considered as temporary copies of the real classes
suggest to look at the stereotype for the "real" model (i.e., models that are marked as Preliminary)
it seems there's no PnfInstance class that is marked as "preliminary", the PnfInstance class is marked as "future" in the root model (referencing the PNF sub-model)
suggest to work on the PnfInstance class in the PNF sub-model for reverse engineering work; the onboarding model in the common domain needs to be cleaned (Kevin and Jacquiline would work on that)
seperate question: how to document the whole view of the models
perhaps we need to improve the structure of the readthedocs
Modeling glossary update
meeting with doc team this week, share the feedback next week
Kevin has update the gendoc template a bit to reuse the stereotype logic to apply to the datatypes
further issues:
glossary structure
level of details
acronyms
Discussed items:
allotted resource:
Kevin will continue work on the allotted resource comments, and discuss next week
license model
2 ways for next steps:
if the proposal is agreed, will address comments as enhancement (like dynamic parameter case)
if the proposal is not agreed, will continue the discussion to address the comments
comment for evidence of the SDC implementation of the license model
Kevin show a few screen snapshots of the SDC UI, and the mapping between SDC and ECOMP design
if any attribute is not reflected in SDC, the audience could comment
Modeling Process discussion:
architecture team is also interested in the modeling process stuff, and Ben will help them forming a similar process as well
Ben will help align the work (and perhaps have one page for the whole process)
summary of DDF:
will summarize in the modeling subcommittee call
M2 milestone check:
IM planned to be finalized
will further discuss in the modeling subcommittee call
next week's call will host be Kevin, and discuss the modeling process and potentially addressing comments of the model proposals
