Proposed ONAP Release Process Updates for Information and Data Modeling

Agenda bashing:

• VES update

  • somebody has taken the work for the VES spec

• PNF instance model

  • there's a bug report, fixed (root model is corrupted, while sub model is fine)

  • will contact AAI for the latest UML models (whether the description issue is fixed)

• modeling glossary

  • no updates except for the gendoc template update

Modeling Process Discussion

• continue M3 process discussion:

  • modeling process is in good shape:

    • main work includes: release model refinement, continue work in progress, take decisions for future work, handle documentation only models and do the M3 checklist

  • continue on arc/use case engagement:

    • use case

      • API and DM freeze

      • would negotiate with modeling S/C for the data model changes that may impact IM

      • the modeling team would work on the potential changes for the IM

      • use case lead would inform modeling S/C for final comments and review for the data model

      • use case lead would trigger a poll for the DM
