Cloud Environment

At the moment of writing (16-05-2023) the only cloud environment that support is OpenStack. The Azure lab is in the process of being deprecated and we are migrating the gating processes to openstack-based envs.

We require a bastion server that is available from the public internet (directly or via VPN) from which there is access to OpenStack APIs for the following components:

• Nova

• Neutron

• Keystone

We will deploy private GitLab runners on this bastion server and trigger further actions via the runners. For this to work we need to have an outgoing connection to gitlab.com.
