The ONAP TSC will review the demo submissions and select up to three of their favorites to receive an award. No specific guidelines on technical merit vs. ease of understanding, etc. are provided.

ONAP E2E Network Slicing Use Case Istanbul Release  Demo at LFN DTF event Jan 2022

Description :  

This demo covers

  1. E2E Slice creation which covers NSMF driven TN-FH, TN-MH slices – Recorded demo

  2. E2E Slice creation with all the internal NSSMFs (RAN, Core and TN NSSMFs) and RAN NSSMF driven TN-FH, TN-MH slices – Live demo

  3. E2E Slice reuse with all the internal NSSMFs – Live demo

  4. E2E Slice reuse with OOF involvement in Option 2 - Live demo

Highlights :

  • Covered two Network Slicing architectures in this demo – Option1 (internal NSSMFs), Option2 (external NSSMFs)

  • Covered two different scenarios in Option1

    • RAN NSSMF based TN Slices

    • NSMF based TN Slices

  • Integrated with Core NSSMF Macro flow and ACTN Simulator

  • This use case is aligned with the standard bodies such as 3GPP, IETF, TMF and O-RAN.
