  • Face-to-face meeting: check wiki for latest info

  • OPNFV Clover (Wenjing Chu)

    • Wenjing presented OPNFV Clover project (overview and plans for Gambia)

    • Discussion about how Clover might impact ONAP.  While it could support both ONAP platform CI/CD and VNFs, Wenjing proposed starting with the ONAP platform, not VNFs

    • Augments capabilities in OOM, and could help with Integration

    • Questions about whether service mesh was required.  Wenjing explained that it is optional, but supported if ONAP heads that direction

    • Action: Wenjing and Roger to discuss alignment and come back to ARC with their proposed next steps.

  • OSAM (Sumithra Bhojan and Bora Eliacik)

    • Sumithra and Bora presented how ONS VOLTHA could attach to ONAP as a PNF

    • There was community interest in the use case, but concern about the proposed approach.

      • Committee members would like to better understand what value ONAP brings in this scenario.  Subscriber management is not part of ONAP's value proposition.

      • Gil asked about gaps in the current architecture driving them to propose integration as a PNF vs. other options.

      • Integration with DCAE also questioned if ONAP is unable to perform closed-loop automation inside the VOLTHA PNF.

    • Team was asked to rethink their proposal and come back when they've had a chance to consider ARC feedback.
