Scope:

• Ensuring the same level of functional quality for ARM64 docker images as it's provided by testing the x86_64 equivalent, csit jobs or pairwise testing and the vFW usecase

Resources:

• 5 arm64 server based Openstack Deployment (only 2 are computes totaling 256GB Memory) (university of New Hampshire Lab)

• Guide for accesing the infrastrccture with the openstack deployment (https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/AUTO/Auto+Arm64+Pod+for+Guide+for+ONAP+Developers)

• 3 ngineers (one full time other 2 part time) with openstack

Prerequisites:

• ONAP docker images migration to dockerhub

• Implementation of ONAP CIA Project proposats regarding multiarch docker images build.

• Fixing the build for arm64 images

Steps:

• Setup the necessary testing infrastructures for arm64

  • Porting the VNF`s images necessary for vFW use case https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/browse/INT-884

  • Adapting oom deployment scripts (we plan to deploy with helm as opposed to rancher)

• M4 Start pairwise testing for previously built docker images

• Start vFW usecase testing.
