ETSI Network Service for 5G Network Slicing
Fred has proposed ETSI Network Service based modeling for Network Slicing, but the current proposal didn't cover Tranport side solutions, like how RAN connecting with FH/MH.
FH and MH can be presented as connectivity between RAN and UPF, and be part of the NSD, the NFVO can configure network to realize the functions. But not just configurations, there should has connectivity links and topology management. The proposal may be extended to consider these aspects.Suggest not having region based RAN NSSI and user plane, this will bring difficulties for workflow and automation, so suggest to change current structure into 1 E2E NSI, composed by RAN Core and Transport NSSI, then nesting lower layers to describe. C NSSI and NE UP NSSI should be moved, 1 Core NSSI can nest directly with UP Network Service and Central Network Service.
Fred will do updates based on the comments, then discuss next time.
ETSI NSD IM Update
The key point now is how SO workflow handles the reference between ONAP SD and NSD, some related testing work is on going.Allotted Resource relationship in Network Slicing
Suggest to choose option 1, which is to add a new relationship from Anfd to SD. Michela can do the updates to see if there has remained concerns.
