DMaaP Code of Conduct

DMaaP is a premier platform for high performing and cost effective data movement services that transports and processes data from any source to any target with the format, quality, security, and concurrency required to serve the business and customer needs.

As a project we want a collaborative, productive, friendly and agile community that encourages new ideas and insights from the entire community.

The purpose of this code of conduct is to ensure that diverse groups can contribute to the progress of the entire project in a mutually beneficial manner.  It outlines how to behave in public or private when representing the project.

We Strive to:

Be Respectful

The success of the project is dependent on the people who contribute to it.

The people who contribute should never feel uncomfortable or threatened by other contributors.

There is no excuse for bad manners or intimidating behavior.

Be respectful of all members of the community and always work on the assumption that their input has good intentions.

Take Responsibility For Our Actions

Mistakes happen.

Take ownership of your mistakes.

If someone is aggrieved by your mistake strive to right that wrong.

Be Collaborative

DMaaP is one cog in the giant ONAP project.

Teams will have to work alongside other projects in the ONAP community to strengthen the overall project.

Teams have their own priorities but this should never overshadow the improvement of ONAP as a whole.

Collaboration should be encouraged and embraced in a transparent and mutually beneficial manner.
