• EMCO/Magma integration
  • To be considered as a Bonus – Independent initiative, not correlated to 5G Super Blueprint activity. No change in direction for the 5G Super Blueprint i.e., Magma integration with ONAP will continue as previously discussed

No issue encountered with EMCO
For ONAP, K8s resources that need to installed in different namespaces, and therefore be split into separate Helm packages
Separate out Orc8s and AGW charts
Target date to be provided by MAGMA PM (Kandall)

Workaround: Use same namespaces for all the Helm Charts

• Review any KPI Network Slicing requirement to be submitted to the Magma team
  • Waiting feedback from Magma team about the presentation made in December
  • Let’s bring it to the Magma meeting on Thursday, Thu, January 27, 8am – 9am or Jan 27^th (TBC)
• Review our ONAP Enterprise Roadmap - what have we really completed in 2021 and what will be our 1H 2022 goals?

• Ike Alisson - 5G Slicing enhancements related to 3GPP "5G Advanced" Specifications
  • Currently Magma is not offering the capabilities enabling us for QoS
  • Importance for Magma to adopt VES Specifications supported by 3GPP - Call scheduled within the coming days

• Amar Kapadia Latest update Magma/ONAP (Service Delivery):
  • In terms of status update, we have completed the CBA development to automatically register the Magma AGW with the Magma 'Controller'.
  • We are trying out the Magma Helm Chart workaround while Wavelabs works on updating the Helm Charts
    
• LFN DDF Take-Aways:
  • Two Magma Sessions:
    • Plenary: Magma 5G - Exploring future feature development and testing topics
    • Plenary: Magma 5G - Understanding ongoing feature development and testing 
    • The Magma team still plans to use Rebaca Abot to exercise AGW 
• New CNF Landing Page. What about us?
  • Can follow similar landing scape but reference back link would be useful
  • Integrate with safratech.net
  • Work on the next level of architecture with Architecture Subcommittee (E2E flows, HL diagrams)

• Review follow-up on the action items:
  • David McBride  Waiting feedback from Dr Kline about SABRES
  • LJ Illuzzi  5G Super Blueprints Information: Phases, FAQs, and Use Cases that are relatively high level. We envision creating blueprints, perhaps similar to Akraino, that will define specific use cases, functionality, configurations, etc. We envision the initial blueprints to be Magma + ONAP, Magma + EMCO
  • Lukasz Rajewski  Our latest presentation at LFN DDF, CNF Orchestration Tutorial, covers this aspect. At least slides 16 and 19 describe Helm & Kubernetes requirements + current VSP onboarding package.
  • Thomas Kulik an extra section could be added to the docs, maybe https://docs.onap.org/en/latest/guides/onap-operator/settingup/index.html
• Jorge Hernandez Review any KPI Network Slicing requirement to be submitted to the Magma team - working with testoper 's team. 
  • Principle/approach to consider VES as ONAP/Magma segways for KPI Collection sounds to be OK - no push back
  • Suggestion was to work with testoper 's team to define requirements, architecture (high/low) and E2E flows but no commitment about implementation
  • Potential POC with basic flows between ONAP/Magma including DCAE/VES collectors
  • Potential ONAP contribution to Magma code directly to support this use case?

• ONAP/Magma 1.6 Integration (Raghuram Gopalshett)
  • Raghu shared a permanent fix (CBA part) that allows ONAP Istanbul to integrate with Magma 1.6.
  • Tested / Deployed on AWS
  • Short Term plan:
    • The CBA "patch" will be available on the 5G Super Blueprint repo as it requires a integration/configuration change on ONAP
    • LJ Illuzzi will provide information about the 5G Blueprint repo that will contain the patch
    • Raghuram Gopalshett, Yogendra Pal to update the CBA patch to support Magma 1.7 and ONAP Istanbul Jakarta (TBC)
  • Long Term Plan:
    • Suggested by David McBride: Document as an use case for ONAP.Use case owner to be identified on the ONAP side to include this change as part of the ONAP Kohn release 
    • David McBride , Raghuram Gopalshett and Yogendra Pal will define the path to move forward
    • Let's use this scenario to define our process to integrate such "patches" identified during cross-community integration, supported by Security/Requirements/Architecture subcommittees and project teams
• 5G Super Blueprint
  • • Requirements and Use Case Advisory Group - please add your name to be part of the Use Case Advisory Group
    • Understand impacts on the different open source communities and impacted respective projects
    • FWA could be one of the E2E use cases to be recommended to the Requirements/Use Case Advisory Group and assess impacts on Core/Infrastructure/O-RAN etc.

  • JIRA epic (including user stories) has been created - REQ-1166 - Getting issue details... STATUS , reviewed by some ONAP SECCOM members

  • SABRES OOF integration lead to more question about NST creation, which happens in SO.
  • SABRES needs to talk with SO PTL Senthil Kumar MKV to understand how to integrate SABRES constructor to create slice(NST) instead of manually creating those NST.
  • SABRES needs to plan a call with DCAE PTL Vijay Kumar to:
    1. discuss integration of SABRES validator using DCAE micro-service
    2. discuss how to customize collector to meet SABRES KPI needs
  • David McBride to followup with both Seshu Kumar Mudiganti and Vijay Kumar to setup calls.
