Principle 1:
Generic-vnf
-vnf-id
-vnf-name
- description
- pserver name
Better way is to create a relationship (edge) between the pserver and generic-vnf vertex.
From a UML logical construct, how is that represented in AAI (and graph dbs in general)
And once you have that, how is represented in the API
Using the existing AAI data model, should we reverse-engineer it and produce an information / run time model based on what is currently defined.
The AAI model becomes the baseline from which the modelling teams can suggest changes for future releases
First step is to identify a team - we need someone who can serve as knowledge lead and an information modeler who can produce UML to represent the AAI data model
Is there tooling that would take the xsd or oxm and get us part of the way there
- Next Tuesday on the modeling sub-committee we'll raise this and present Chandra's draft proposal for AAI graph db modeling guideline
- Schedule 10 min for the TSC call to discuss the effort and solicit help from the community
