| Progress: - Built an aaf simulator, modeled after the aaisim, and adapted the aaf authentication code in osdf. Can read mock permissions from the simulator using the AAF API signature.
- The adapter had to be tweaked to make it work with python 2.7, and change the log, config, and rest libraries to match the rest of HAS.
A few of things remain: - reading configs from conductor.conf. I see code that sets up defaults and uses the results, but I don’t see where the file contents are used to populate the conf object. Any pointers?
- the expression and parsing of the permissions defined in osdf_config.yaml is mysterious. Can someone explain how the AAF type/instance/permission format matches the format used here?
- Finally, need to populate test data in the AAF lab instance and test. I have access to the lab and have been working with AAF team to get access to writing test data
