Streamlined release process

It’s time to review the release process since the present one is 2-3 years old and much has happened.

Collecting proposals for streamlining to relieve the admin burden for PTLs and Requirement owners and shorten the time line.

Matt Watkins needs help removing Python 2 from test suite.

Version Scan (Nov '22)

Muddasar Ahmed - SBOM to be turned on for all projects beginning TBD. Muddasar to get exact date and report back to the PTL meeting or send mail to the list.

Wiki landing page was restored last week.

Matt Watkins will investigate these tickets and make sure that they're assigned to the correct individual.

Andreas Geißler Plans in OOM to remove the deployment of "contrib" component https://git.onap.org/oom/tree/kubernetes/contrib, containing:

• AWX (Ansible Tower)
• Netbox (IP Management)
• EJBCA (used by AAF)

Are Usecases/Components depend on the existence ?
If not, we will rermove these components

Currently some components are not ServiceMesh ready:

• UUI
• CLI
• OOF (partly)
• HOLMES
• VNFSDK

When we remove AAF we must enable ServiceMesh deployment.
→ Gating need to be changed
→ Tests have to be re-implemented, which fail under SM

• David McBride follow up with UUI, CLI, OOF, HOLMES, VNFSDKI regarding impact of REQ-1349

Review list of unmaintained repos (more than 1 year since project team changes to repo) to see if they can be removed from the Jenkins build.
