07:04:32 When the meeting is over, we'll start by talking about our antitrust policy, you can find this policy link 2 from the Lf.
07:04:40 On all of the project websites. policy is important where we have multiple companies, including potential industry competitors participating in these meetings policies In effect, whether or not a member of the Lf.
07:04:52 Is in attendance at the meeting. Please review it if you have any questions please contact your company's legal council members of the Ls.
07:05:00 May also contact Andrew up to Grove, the firm Gesmer up to Grove, Llp.
07:05:04 Which provides legal counsel to the Linux foundation.
07:05:12 Okay. Got yan hong flash cost notch sure I didn't see something from s issue.
07:05:37 But that doesn't mean that I didn't see it but I will mark you in for now well and i'll check later.
07:05:58 Key toking gotta couple more staff updates. We had one last week regarding Randy.
07:06:12 Got a couple more to share with you we'll talk about the the cone kickoff for today.
07:06:27 We'll have a discussion about the external Api issue. i'll talk about what to do with Portal.
07:06:45 We've got magnus was the only one I believe that volunteered for the Spc.
07:06:49 Which. So we'll just need to get an agreed on that talk about some other things coming up, and that's it.
07:06:59 Anything else that anyone needs to add, Hey, Kenny? Yes, Brandon, after the staff of update, could I make a brief own app marketing update, as it relates to Jakarta?
07:07:11 Some other things. So why don't you go ahead and lead off with the staff update?
07:07:31 Yeah. Okay, thank you. Wanted to share some exciting yet bitter sweet news in that. I'm going to be leaving the Linux Foundation.
07:07:42 Been here now 7 and a half years. it's been an amazing experience working in open source, working in the communities.
07:07:49 I'd say that's been my favorite part done a lot of cool things together over the years from you know was originally working on opn fee, and then when the umbrella came together started working much more
07:08:02 closely on own app and i've been working with several view on this call for several years in that regard, and we've done some some really great work together, so wanted to recognize that and also say that it's been a real pleasure
07:08:23 helping get on an app off the ground and help get it to where it is today.
07:08:28 The good news is that I won't be going very far. i'm going to stay in the community, but just switching hats from working at Linux Foundation to working for lfm number Arena networks who you're all
07:08:44 familiar with as well, very active in the in the community, and the fiveg super blueprints.
07:08:51 Mco. Crano, us go ups and some other projects.
07:08:57 And so that work will continue, and I will be working for Arna in a marketing capacity.
07:09:04 So you'll continue to see me on calls including this one
07:09:09 From time to time, and at lf events so a little bit sad but it's it's not goodbye.
07:09:16 It's see you later or see you soon. and just want to thank you all for the opportunity to work on this this big, complicated, yet really innovative and compelling and amazing project.
07:09:35 So that's my news on that Front i'll Miss working with you in this regard, that look forward to working with you down the road, and in nu capacity thank you, Brandon.
07:09:54 Thank you. Thank you, Brandon, for all the the support that you you you gave us over the last 5 years.
07:10:01 We really appreciate. And do you already know or maybe that's the topics next you already know who will be the next, Mac?
07:10:10 Oh, representative, for the linux foundation all right thank you Catherine, i'm glad you're on the call.
07:10:18 I wasn't sure you were there. Yeah, thank you very much I wanted to share that news with you.
07:10:24 As well. So plans are underway in order to cover for me in the short term.
07:10:31 Some team members like Heather and Jill on the Lfm marketing team will be helping to cover.
07:10:39 And then there are plans underway to hire a replacement for me.
07:10:44 So we're very active in recruiting out that person. If anyone here on this call has any recommendations of marketers who might be interested.
07:10:57 Please send them over to us. we're also looking to get some contractor help.
07:11:01 In the meantime, around some of the the more administrative tasks that is done behind the scenes.
07:11:08 So I feel like you're all in good dance and there's there's a plan moving forward to ensure coverage in the longer term, and along those lines you know brand it said if you're aware of anybody you more
07:11:26 specifically, you know, looking for somebody that that understands the network space.
07:11:32 So that we feel for Lfn. is kind of a critical piece.
07:11:39 So if you are aware of anyone that are that is good in that regard, please, please, please let us know.
07:11:56 Okay, and in other news we have hired for the Eu for release.
07:12:08 Engineering gentleman named Matt watkins and he has already started.
07:12:16 He's not on the call yet he's going through onboarding, and and all of that at the moment.
07:12:24 But we do Have him on board so that's great news. Then the other staff update that folks may know. Trishander Lonerrell, who worked on was one of my Imperials worked on things
07:12:51 like Dent, Iran, Fido, and some other projects.
07:12:57 He left back in, I think, about the first part of February.
07:13:05 We have hired somebody who folks may be very familiar with from the anecdote community.
07:13:12 Shredder Rao is now the technical community architect that will be taking care of things like Dent and Iran, and I think maybe even Pf.
07:13:24 And and a couple of others, so you will probably see him around in a in different contexts.
07:13:33 Then you are used to seeing him. So been some movement from folks from the community in, and folks from in to the community.
07:13:44 Anyways that's it for staff updates any questions Well, we welcome the new person.
07:13:55 I don't know the new person is on the brick show no, not .
07:14:00 Not yet and not yet like I said they're they're being onboarded for the the lfit stuff, and they'll be on.
07:14:14 Since we get them on the bridge we'll get them on the bridge, probably being next week at the earliest.
07:14:32 Okay, Brandon, you want to share the Mac Update: yeah, sure thing.
07:14:42 Wanted to touch Brace briefly on jakarta So I have down in my notes and correct me if i'm wrong, because I know you all change these dates.
07:14:53 Sometimes technical release. Look to happen on may the fifth and if that's the case.
07:14:58 We would want to do the marketing release about a week after that, so we could target May the twelfth What we normally do that you might recall.
07:15:09 We start a page for inputs from the project ptls as well as key committee leads on the release itself.
07:15:19 What's different, and what why, is that significant for the project and the industry.
07:15:28 So we will get that page going, and also from that, doc, or from that page we start creating what we call the the messaging dock.
07:15:40 And this is a shared doc amongst the group where we start creating a a messaging framework around the release.
07:15:50 It doesn't have to be super detailed But we want to capture the highlights of the release, and what we can pull and also get Catherine your input on, that.
07:16:00 Doc, but once we have that in place that's what we use to develop web copy the blog post and the architecture overview, Doc.
07:16:09 Updates. So i'll be starting that one in parallel here before I I check out.
07:16:17 And then in sort of the Tiktok cadence will be going back to our Lfm.
07:16:22 Members with individual outreach about how you all are using own app.
07:16:29 So some of you may be on that distro it may be others within your org as well.
07:16:35 But it's important that we get that feedback. in over the next couple of weeks in order to update our ownap materials, and that we share with press.
07:16:51 And at our events. so please, if you are a part of that process, please help pulling together that update and getting that back to us, and then relates to a big your conversation around proof.
07:17:02 Points. So I brought this up the last time I was on the call.
07:17:05 We continue to need these stories from our ecosystem about how own app is is being used in products, services, and deployments.
07:17:18 So keep in mind to that. If you have anything that comes to mind for that, or an idea share that with us.
07:17:27 We can talk about it a little bit more, and that exercise of filling in how, using own app in your company might be the impetus to create a larger proof point story around that.
07:17:38 And if we can identify something to feature the would then interview subject matter experts, and turn that into a case study like we did recently for Spark.
07:17:49 Brooch telecom and I ranch and I think that's it.
07:17:54 Any questions or comments on any of that a brand in the Jakarta release is slipped one week, so it's now plan for the twelfth.
07:18:07 So then we do marketing on the and then also I set up a key, updates page for Jakarta at start of the release, and I dropped the link but into the chat.
07:18:26 Excellent. Thank you, David. It was your idea originally to to build that in to some of the build milestones, and the process there.
07:18:37 I really appreciate that, and think it's a good practice to apply across our other project as well.
07:18:42 Where possible, I think it's part of the lc milestone.
07:18:51 So I see that. Can you changing so I don't want to jeopardize what is writing?
07:18:57 But no, many ptl use case ownership committees and everybody's should update it as part of the sc wirestone.
07:19:06 I guess, David isn't it right i'd have to verify that I That sounds right.
07:19:14 I can't remember for sure though and I think it's for the end of this month.
07:19:26 Yeah. Rc. is scheduled for April the 20 eighth 3 we from today the below.
07:19:38 So Okay, sounds like good time to transition to release status.
07:19:58 Thanks, Brandon. Thanks. So David i'll stop sharing thanks Kenny. Right so.
07:20:20 As mentioned, the release candidate for Jakarta scheduled for April 20 eighth.
07:20:32 Also be aware that the Tsc. approved the schedule for cone last week, and the kickoff is scheduled for today.
07:20:46 Let's just take a quick peek at that schedule, so you can see.
07:20:51 Kick off here on April seventh, and then m one cup.
07:21:00 April the 20 or sorry May the 20 sixth, A couple of weeks after the Jacquard of Sign-off. You can see other details. in the in the weekly status report.
07:21:18 I did want to highlight one thing. so I I created a new dashboard for tracking Jira Trends for the release.
07:21:39 This is based on some of the feedback that I received from the survey that I did with month or so ago.
07:21:47 And so hopefully, this will give the Tsc. and and other interested readers a little more.
07:21:56 Insight context about what what's going on so you can see the E issues, and and this is all for the release.
07:22:06 So issues that are assigned to the release in the in the Jira issue both issues closed, and you's opened by month, and then a trend line for the overall number of issues that are open then this pain over
07:22:33 here just takes all of the the open issues. And remember, these are issues that are not release management tasks.
07:22:43 So these are issues that are, you know, typically opened by the projects.
07:22:47 So all of those issues and sorts them by projects, so that you can see who currently has the largest number of open issues for the release.
07:22:59 So hopefully, people will find that useful and that's it for me Kenny.
07:23:18 Okay, any questions. Yeah. just wanted to mention. David gave me a quick preview.
07:23:27 If you go to the graph, you can do a drilling, too, and get more details of the kind of a more weekly daily level, by just by clicking the graph and doing a trillion to So people might want to do thanks
07:23:50 Ryan. Okay, have a quick question for David. Maybe there was a There was an issue of that entry milestone.
07:24:04 Jira for Os and krishna responded to the message is that's something we need to talk about.
07:24:16 Yeah, I saw the I saw the message. And yeah, I would agree that probably what he needs to do is to file an exception.
07:24:34 Wait. Thanks it's an if you can also inform I just click like you. So it's from Camstill.
07:24:42 So I can put that trip if you can also inform the second one.
07:24:47 You have the weaver as well, and add the weaver epsilon to your Jira.
07:24:53 Basically reversing the community. Thank you. Thanks, cousin.
07:25:00 They just saw them and said, Yeah, anything else for leash related.
07:25:18 Okay, anything going on for relinch show stoppers or anything else.
07:25:30 Nothing from Luther. this point folks should be up and running on the new unh lab. seems to be going.
07:25:48 Okay, as far as I know, the other lab at this point should be turned off.
07:26:02 And so that's that's that I think i've got oh, meeting this afternoon!
07:26:13 I could to share your you know the agenda again, because you're not sharing anything.
07:26:21 Yeah, i'm just kind of talking to this i've got a meeting on the you andh lab did this afternoon, and we'll work on making that changing it. where the the requests of going through Jira and such will be working on
07:26:45 that, but other than that, should be all good to go, or is, I mean, operational.
07:26:51 Being used at this point. So, Kenny, I know we have a few ptls on the call.
07:27:02 I see Dan and Tuan and a few others and i'm just curious about ptl experience with with the new lab.
07:27:16 Any problems issues. and Harvey the Vm. here from policy Rhe was used.
07:27:32 It has been using it. The last is while that he seems street Do is quite happy with it.
07:27:39 It seems to work well from so so far we have done your problems. Okay, sure.
07:27:42 But you know this, which I call the same I mean i've been using a daily explain.
07:27:49 Yes, that migration has been smooth and been able to set up a couple of answers for Dc.
07:27:54 And we are working through that. yep just maybe just when we're talking about Pts.
07:28:04 They were just a segue to something else. I was just wondering, does this spring for shell when we're finishing the string framework impact.
07:28:13 Anyone or what it could have has cause. if you something like a log for G.
07:28:17 I. So if hey, liam, let me address. Yeah, really quickly.
07:28:24 Pavel did a search on all. of our nexus Iq scans to see if we had the shell spring for shell, and we were not affected.
07:28:36 . i'm not sure if you're still here I know you're still showing on the bridge, So I think that we're in good shape with Did you check with Nexus Iq Yes, That's where we did
07:28:48 that's where we did the check cool that's great Okay, what you've next with Iq does not detect it.
07:29:02 It's the good news. Yes, we were very pleased and to and see your but I see your note there in the chat.
07:29:16 Thanks. So I will track that coming to help you under Pt.
07:29:29 Updates, or what no second. I will try to find I think I had the Cvs from my college right if I you know, if if somebody could just drop it into the chat one day, they'll probably make it somebody familiar with it probably make it, the
07:30:13 easiest. Yes. Oh, sorry. I was striking in the directly the notes again.
07:30:21 Yeah, no, I I I I see that sorry Katherine.
07:30:28 Okay, let's move on Then there's nothing else to talk about external Api.
07:30:46 So the issue was escalated to the Tsc. Last year the Tsc.
07:30:53 Took to action, got resources aligned. What I was a little shocked to find was that it had been escalated to the Tsc.
07:31:02 Last year. and no bug had ever been opened, so it was escalated without even having a bug opened.
07:31:11 Anyways long story short, no action was ever taken.
07:31:19 And that repository, along with a number of other repositories, was that are in unmaintained state, were moved to moved to read-only after a discussion on the Ptl meeting back in February So the
07:32:02 big question is, what does the Tsc. want to do?
07:32:11 So my apologize for the delay response i'm still catching up, I tried to formulate a response this morning, based on my understanding.
07:32:23 So first of all, I so I try to a express that unmaintained does not mean archive and Nikolas Archive is really we don't touch anymore.
07:32:41 And there are some circumstances where you might have a project which is declare unmaintained.
07:32:51 But in order to support the relief, you might still open
07:32:56 The from hypository to support a release. In this context.
07:33:03 If i've understood correctly a good challenge this is something which is required for the Enterprise network slides in this case and at all knows the network slicing it's push our feature for ownup in order to open
07:33:21 a lot of opportunities. My new one, it might be enterprising, might be everything.
07:33:27 So based on that I was could eventually suggests thing and again it's just suggestion.
07:33:36 I don't see, Yeah, that potentially if we have developers, for from the end user use case and networking use case, you can then ignore the patch.
07:33:49 We are still 2 people wear committers. When external Api was still acting.
07:34:00 We have still 2 people homeown up committee we are defined as committers, and we can bantonically grant them back new hype.
07:34:08 So i'm referring to eligible was already starting up the first time last year, and we are also on the whole mayor.
07:34:16 That's a shocking path if it is confirmed by the use case.
07:34:23 Lead that in the dispatch is mandatory for the series.
07:34:27 But I would not reopen all the projects I would only reopen.
07:34:31 I think the and Nba the North bonds in the phase Repository, because I guess this is where the patch of regime was started.
07:34:43 So that was the probation I made to the Tsc.
07:34:49 For us is this morning. I think that's a good idea. I think we should go forward with that and so no, I understand It's it's It's still we don't need so we need to ask
07:35:16 Jessica. if she's okay to give access to the Nbi people.
07:35:25 So basically restoring that. yeah, I think there was a communication in the relic channel.
07:35:33 Kenny where Kevin was mentioning the steps he's doable.
07:35:39 It is doable. But, yeah, as long as there's an agreement to do so.
07:35:43 Then we can work on it, and of course, a ticket.
07:35:46 We can work on it so, but I think we can still do this.
07:35:52 Once I know external Api it's a project where we only touch where there is a new specific to typically that's one of the things.
07:36:07 If known with the fighting it looks like the use case. We have additional change in the future.
07:36:12 Then I would recommend as a long-term plan that some components, and i'm thinking about O. F.
07:36:22 Put on Shirley Cbs. But Cps is model data based on the metal sizing.
07:36:26 But if, indeed, the net of striking use case needs additional change.
07:36:32 Later on I would say, as a long-term plan and you don't need to decide today.
07:36:36 We would have Ok. taking over the Mbi report exactly like we asked the meddling team to take it over the West because they are the motivating them, and they have already a development that could be also a proposition.
07:36:55 And and Shankar. I would like to ask you on the code to do an assessment, because you have accepted to take it over on the use Case network slicing.
07:37:08 I think we are fixing the problem today. but if you believe initially, changes are needed in the future to continue to announce this key character, equivalent capabilities.
07:37:21 That's something you might explore with the or f team. But potentially, yeah, there are some dependencies on some libraries. Yeah, I can.
07:37:31 I'll follow participation. so does the tsc or Gui or anybody else, have concern about the proposition.
07:37:40 The second part of my proposition, which is potentially, and the use case.
07:37:44 And when the book slides things, and potentially always taking over Nbi was not part of my recommendation this morning, and I can document it.
07:38:00 This agenda want me to any concern? Do, do do we have a commitment?
07:38:11 For from one of the committers to actually do the bug it's not hard to do the book to do the murder.
07:38:22 Yes, you were a commitment from my side, and I know my rick was also open to do it.
07:38:28 But since i'm on the call I don't want to commit for Eric, so you have a commitment with my agency app that's when you do and you can capture it.
07:38:55 Oh, that's cool i'll get that in here. So yeah, I I would like to highlight that like for the moment we have this bug fix to be accommodator in the Nba. report.
07:39:09 But yeah, we we may, or we may. We may get some future enhancements to this report event.
07:39:17 So maybe like the permanent solution should, should be focused.
07:39:24 Catherine is i'm trying to document not on the same line that David is writing, because i'm just concerned that for reason that I don't know.
07:39:35 Sometime when I take the control of the Wiki.
07:39:36 During this stuff i'm trying to document we need to have Jessica First, because we don't think we are going nowhere.
07:39:45 Let me just back up the scientific yeah Well, it's it's it's it's it's not necessarily, Jess.
07:39:56 It's getting a ticket opened, and I mean either Yeah, Kevin, or banked, or somebody you know, for giving you.
07:40:05 Take care of it. This is what David is talking. so, Anniela, can you open an it tickets?
07:40:11 Who asked to give exactly what David wrote. Right? Yeah. Do you know how to show it? Okay?
07:40:19 And then I will also leave the next action I I put in there.
07:40:25 So you have the developers to fix the bug students, the disk, and yes, both people.
07:40:38 And okay. So So as Catherine's doing that we we have agreement on the Tsc.
07:40:47 To unlock the repo i'm going to drop that into the minutes.
07:40:52 I will give 10 s here for somebody to respond. Thank you, Thank you, Kenny.
07:41:13 Formula. Would you mind to send a name to an upkc when it's done?
07:41:17 Because at least I can monitor, or we can monitor that you push the code to give it.
07:41:24 We the group number be so used, but and then on the doing things interest movements.
07:41:46 No to go from to that's week okay let me just take that to work.
07:43:36 And so you can change my English, because on the screen I was just typing it 5.
07:43:40 And I realize my English is not the great Hmm.
07:43:54 All right, and everybody's okay with the proposition or don't look at the English just the deduction.
07:44:10 Katherine i'll i'll talk to krishna about it, and Iila at this point we don't know what is feasible.
07:44:15 What's not feasible, but in this kit pack with a at least after that's a signage right.
07:44:23 You need to assess, because if you change every year, you know this makes sense.
07:44:28 If you believe there will be additional interface change that would be interesting to have it under Os and to do the change at your convenience isn't.
07:44:43 And yeah, and the other issue about the exception that's problem is also not that straightforward.
07:44:55 But but you, you said other projects are also in the similar situation, for oh, you you are back to the email response.
07:45:02 Yes, I thought that's what you wanted me to I when I first started.
07:45:07 We can do both at the same time. no no here what I'm.
07:45:12 Asking you is in the context of external an Api.
07:45:14 We know we have an Nba hippo that sometimes the end-to-end network slides in use Case team need 2 changes.
07:45:23 We have only had to occurrence in A year I would say so. that's a long-term plan, If you anticipate additional change in the interface in the Nbi interface, I would recommend that maybe you assess
07:45:38 in the project should not take it under the umbrella.
07:45:42 So you don't need to have this type of discussion at the ts inevitable next time.
07:45:49 So that's that's what I asked you you can assess the Nbi.
07:45:55 Now, if you are referring to what we were discussing before, which is the Gpl.
07:46:00 Version 3 for the Os team. I was recommending that you create with Krishna a weaver, and there are some example of the leader.
07:46:14 I'm sure that if we think is any on the call yeah, I understand that you Okay, Okay, yeah, it's instruction different.
07:46:23 It's to actually okay, if you want me to track connection, let me add an action.
07:46:31 So at least you see the differences. so I would say, Shanghai, so really help.
07:46:38 I mean he owes Pca. Oh, gap!
07:46:59 I don't know do you have to get?
07:47:03 Maybe David, can I do your heart again? So you see there's 2 actions?
07:47:06 Okay, does it help? Yeah. So so, who who? Who will be responsible for creating the Jenkins jobs for external Api?
07:47:26 I and Ajala. Can you also create the job?
07:47:29 So I need to work with I don't know do we need to be a committers to do this, or somebody can pull the code.
07:47:36 It's very easy. So if somebody from the team can go into the Ci Management repo and look for the log and search for the revert that search for the commit that removed the external api jobs, they can just submit
07:47:50 that reverse of that change, and they don't have to type everything again.
07:47:56 Basically they can just go into the git log and search for the change to revert it.
07:48:01 Okay, Ahila, do you think you can do that? or I need to?
07:48:06 Oh, yeah, Jessica, maybe can I get your help offline, Because if there is a job I already present in the Cia management, how how do I need to enable it again?
07:48:16 I'm not getting it. we can we can help you in the in the ticket.
07:48:21 We can help you out. Okay, jessica thank you yeah Yeah, Katherine, i'll just I love it.
07:48:33 Thank you, kenny, because I don't look at all the execution fees, and at least we can we think if you don't mind, I think and I go away. don't you polite the weekend, we are all
07:48:58 good before I give the floor to Andreas. I want to congratulate the Joseph.
07:49:09 We know new cps commuter. Oh, yes, I hope I you don't mind
07:49:24 I saw the emails from Misha this morning, and all the the great news that discussed at the elephant Dds.
07:49:36 And you were planning to open source the the bottom that you were building internally.
07:49:41 So I? Is it convenience to cover both topics?
07:49:47 So would you prefer to cover from ditch taken another time?
07:49:54 Because i'm not sure I think that we can do another time because I think it will be not let's say I'm. Still, internally, we'll have to do some development to get and to set up teams and whatever to to
07:50:08 get let's, say, the whole setup I mean it's just not not only providing the code, as you know, and of course we would know, and of course, then some some project team which would then actively then work and so this
07:50:21 is, might still take some time. but what was the question here was now?
07:50:35 That me how and let's say the integration team.
07:50:38 Figure it out in the last weeks. that we have the daily chains, and also indicating chains.
07:50:48 I think open problems in when deploying the the portal application, which is not maintained anymore.
07:50:59 So we have issues, especially obviously in the cassandra database when it's created.
07:51:04 It's takes a lot of memory. and whatever and what me How did I think some days ago, or yesterday, even he at least disabled from the pipelines?
07:51:19 The deployment of the portal application so that it's not included in the let's say daily installations, or into the installations at all.
07:51:31 Now it's, anyway not test it yeah so in so in any test case there.
07:51:38 Besides then help check test cases. Yeah, but that means it it's at the moment excluded.
07:51:45 But generally I wanted to raise the question as it is any way of unmaintained component, and is basically only used, let's say, for launching the stc component.
07:52:02 Yeah. So I mean, you need to lock in, and then the Stc.
07:52:05 And you get them some kind of cookie in the header, and then Stc.
07:52:10 Can be can be a big Stc Ui can be started to.
07:52:15 I wanted to ask whether it would whether we could instead of let's say deploying, anyway.
07:52:29 The portal at all. that we can work a bit on.
07:52:36 Or maybe the Sdc project could work on a solution to to be independent from the portal, and can be launched without that cookie, which is to need to be set, which defines then what are what is the user basically And
07:52:52 the role. So I think that's my idea So then we could basically get get rid of the old portal at all at all before we may then deploy a new portal. Yeah, So which would be then also have including and kind of application
07:53:08 launcher, and also a kind of bit replacement the that was what it would be.
07:53:14 Then our idea when we would let's say provide our portal solution, maybe then to the community.
07:53:22 But in the meantime the question would be then If we could now get rid of the portal and instead have then a solution within the Sdc Ui, so that it can be launched independent from the portal itself.
07:53:42 And that's, of course, a question which would be then based for the Ptl of the Sdc.
07:53:51 So I think Michael is not here in the call but I don't know if there's something planned like that, or something for the next releases or for this release.
07:54:03 I don't know exactly, but I think that would make of course, this kind of dependencies, or we that we get rid of these kind of dependencies to to the portal, and then we could can good could get rid of the portal
07:54:18 completely basically. So the old port, of course that was my suggestion, and my question whether we could raise this.
07:54:29 Then as a kind of requirement. or feature in the I don't know if it's manageable to do in the cone release, or something like that.
07:54:40 Yeah, I think i'm over there right so we need to follow up is Michael.
07:54:47 But I don't see Michael on the bridge so the pt cold might be more appropriate.
07:54:53 But maybe in Macness, would you mind to give an end up to so?
07:55:00 Sdc: Thank you. sorry. But do you mind, Mikhail?
07:55:19 Or do you meant that you meant michael's no I mean or the Dsdc.
07:55:24 Be clearly yeah. So Michael, yeah I don't see Mike on the way.
07:55:32 No, he's not on the bridge I think Michael Morris. right?
07:55:35 So yeah, yes, yes, I can. I can convey that. Yeah, Sure.
07:55:41 Okay, okay, because you are yeah, I mean, same kind of area.
07:55:47 Yeah, Okay, have a connection. Okay, But I think maybe then me, how can also then raise this issue and again done on the on the Ptl call on Monday.
07:55:59 What I I Yeah, I hope that you will be able to join.
07:56:04 I just want to remind people we are starting soon. The Passover in you go.
07:56:12 So Mike is not getting his right. sorry. Sorry? Okay, So I think we should have, anyway, in the next release a kind of focus on.
07:56:26 Let's, say, cleaning up own up and let's say getting rid of of let's see all these kind of unmaintained stuff.
07:56:34 We have, and concentrate that on the new components and so on.
07:56:39 I think one step is then the portal definitely. Other step is the get rid of the Af.
07:56:45 I think that was, anyway planned. But therefore, we would need and maybe the still to be in place where i'm also working on with the team together to get this somehow in a better shape.
07:57:03 Okay, can you just track that? We need to have this items on the winter call on Monday?
07:57:12 Thank you. And while Kenny is writing this, I just want to thank you.
07:57:20 Mike Ness, who has nominated and to be your new Spc. representative.
07:57:26 I don't think there have been anybody else inside check what I will do.
07:57:32 Oh, reunion! and I think, even if you are the only one, and I really appreciate you determination. I guess we also need to have the buying of the the tea as soon as possible, process.
07:57:46 But thank you again, my mistress. Yeah, so unless I hear anything I'm.
07:57:54 Just going to drop in that the Tsc. confirms.
07:57:58 Magnus is the new Spc: Red: Okay. Okay, Thanks for you. Thank you.
07:58:11 Magnus. Thank you, Magnus, and don't hesitate to come back to work if you need addition, unless you need additional support.
07:58:19 And that's probably what I was about to ask you because i've not been able to help you a lot.
07:58:26 I know you are sharing your thought about what you were planning to present to the Tms.
07:58:32 For home on Monday. Some team members have already providing feedback to you.
07:58:38 So are you all settled for a freely living with the Tms.
07:58:44 For home by using some presentation at the Ddf.
07:58:46 Or do you need? Do you need anything from a no I I think We're looking at the May timeframe.
07:58:54 Now I am we're not set up for for that but that meeting in April, and I also had a conversation with the team forum.
07:59:03 And I think that this is probably better. so we have some more time to I haven't been able to get that off
07:59:12 Okay, let me just correct, because i've been understood to infect this one is the one that we were discussing before. right?
07:59:26 So homeland, and I know you started it and widow soup for the thing like of way.
07:59:50 Didn't do it today. Okay, Anything you want to bring everything has been maybe discussed last week.
08:00:02 Not miss anything. Yeah, no, I can. I can say that we We did have a meeting on the Intent, and we have a good presentation from Don one on what has been done in ownup.
08:00:23 And we got some some good discussion with the teamm team on that.
08:00:27 So I think we also concluded that there is room for a collaboration.
08:00:38 And and we were talking about Yeah, but this complementary work that has been done in the own open and the Forum. and we also tentatively said that that maybe we could sort of work together on a Catholic proof
08:00:54 of concept for for well, basically next year that's a idea that that Tong brought up, and that was sort of well received in the meeting.
08:01:08 So that was the work. Yeah, that was the the owner team forum meeting on intent that I I also briefly mentioned last week.
08:01:21 Thank you, madness. And then I have another question. This is more general.
08:01:27 You know they are defining interface with tfpm is in keynf for numbers, for a lot of network functions, and I was wondering,
08:01:42 And we're not see in the context of external Api.
08:01:45 I know there were some work in the past to match some Tms Poho!
08:01:50 I guess the discussion that we have with the Team Forum is not really about defining of mapping interface that they they are proposing?
08:02:05 Or is it also what you expect as part of the main discussion, that we look at the data for home numbers and see how we can apply and match what they defined?
08:02:18 I think there was some work for the with the external Api, and people that were that were sort of matching that I I haven't seen much on that lately.
08:02:30 And I think the activity and in own app is is not not vivid in that area.
08:02:38 So I haven't seen that kind of mapping lately No, but I mean we talked.
08:02:47 We did talk about for the intent that that we were that's where you should look at some some alignment on the on the intent Api.
08:02:58 Okay, but what the May time frame, we will focus on the multi-step right?
08:03:05 . . Thank you Thank you for having me thank you Okay, Kenny, I don't know if you want that I call the next item.
08:03:34 So just an update. There have been some modes with the task force.
08:03:39 It was already announced that Phoenix task force as a new time, which is one Pmu Pc.
08:03:48 And the end of past ties costed also, and exercise a vote.
08:03:55 And it has been confirmed that the time did not change for enterprise. force it's still at 7 30 pst.
08:04:02 Who's so tpm utc every 2 weeks. So the next call, when I say that will be next week, maybe I need to.
08:04:18 All right. We have some delay to communicate the on-up committee.
08:04:26 Awards proposal has been sent to the Tsc.
08:04:30 For the especially for the one which they use from the ed sex.
08:04:35 That's both. So i'm referring to the code of open award and the test automation award.
08:04:41 I see the opportunity to remind the Tfc. to review the proposition that has been sent this morning and vote so we can share the winners during our next years to call, which is on April 14, and along those lines the
08:05:08 badges for the 2020 21 year should be going out here within the next couple of days.
08:05:21 All of the information's been submitted yeah and just needs to get processed.
08:05:27 So keep an eye out for those emails and yeah It's pretty much spent, being the entire day on on Tuesday doing that, Not not just for the not just for the community, awards, but for all of the badges
08:05:55 that the Tse agreed to thank you penny I'm sure that people are looking forward to seeing them or getting them.
08:06:11 Oh, I do have one thing to note in that regard for the for the 5 year.
08:06:23 Contributor. badge actually I should probably let's see if I've got that page still up give me 1 s here.
08:06:42 No, that's not the one i'm conform Well, i'll find it, and then drop it up so i'm not fumbling through here on the 5 years contributor badge the tsc agreed that this
08:06:58 would be issued to people that have met the criteria as an active community member for 5 consecutive years.
08:07:10 I ran those numbers unlike everything else that i've done.
08:07:18 I've that I did, which was only through It was January first, 2,021 through December 30, first, 2,021 for the 5 year badge.
08:07:30 I ran that through the end of Q one of this year.
08:07:36 So all of the badges that are being issued, with the exception of the of the five-year badge, will come out with a 2021 date, a 5 year badge will come out with a 2,022 date and
08:07:53 for the remainder of 2022. when we issue the badges.
08:08:02 Next time I will pick up anyone that has qualified themselves over the remaining three-quarters of the year, So the numbers were were established as of the end of Q.
08:08:15 One for that, if you have been a member of the community, and you know that you have met the active community status for 5 years.
08:08:23 But you did not yet get your badge. It just may not have been that you have gotten that achieved that this year.
08:08:33 That was a bit long and rambling but the bottom line is, if you I've met the criteria up to now.
08:08:44 I will have issued a badge for you. If not, I will do it again when I run the numbers.
08:08:50 For the the next round of badging in Q. one of 2,023 that can get great.
08:09:17 I think we have sometimes to continue the discussion of the 2022 owner priority, direction plan, and I have tried to incorporate some feedback, and people also step up to to play some goal.
08:09:32 Or they're already playing some rules so if you don't mind, Okay, I would like to share my screen.
08:09:51 Yeah, just a second. Where are you there? you are which 1 7,000,000 mature of selected the light looking at priorities with the we were looking at the slide that now we're looking at It was on the right between carries
08:10:31 again. Very good is the one still looking at the at and t ball.
08:10:41 Oh, I sure the right one so now, we're looking at yeah we're we're looking at your desktop.
08:10:59 So i'm not sure you Don't see the district if you go into the into your windows, get in choose from your open windows when you try to understand what I did twice.
08:11:15 But any point. Oh, I know what i'm doing I I know what i'm doing for sharing with them when I show.
08:11:24 Yes, this is yes, you're with teams that I was going to tell you that i'm sharing with them when we are on zoom.
08:11:32 That's why it does not work. Okay, Then I don't know why Zoom, I never succeed.
08:11:43 I'm normal on them no you're still on zoom you'll see on zoom.
08:11:47 We don't, we don't see anything who knows my show can display. Because, you see, that's the too funny that I share with amendment, and I wonder why it does not work.
08:12:16 Okay. So I did some cleanup. There is only one item that I was.
08:12:22 Not sure. We keep going this year, because, understand we we did a we kick off a prototype with oo, but we cannot conclude anything, and I was wondering if we should not remove these items from of 2,000
08:12:39 and 22 priorities, and added back, when we have indeed a project.
08:12:47 Who wants to prototype? getlap what do you think?
08:12:59 But i'm not sure We are ready really to earn this one a passed over 20 to 21.
08:13:10 Release. Yeah, this needs to be driven so if there's no one from the community driving it.
08:13:16 Then, so I potentially remove it. The rest I clean up because there was some discussion about Mvp.
08:13:25 And the conclusion from the meeting we have on mid-match was, and this P.
08:13:33 Will be defined the use case. So I was just highlighting the fact that we have already the the main thing, and then the next slide.
08:13:41 I try to build, based on people already driving it. we might want to add additional champions, and that's what I would like to try to achieve with your support today.
08:13:54 So is there any Tsc. members already part of the Un.
08:13:59 Maintained Project gas force. David. sorry, Catherine. Could you repeat that?
08:14:10 Yes, so you are driving with Tomas and other people the unmaintained task force right?
08:14:19 And I was wondering if there is there any Tsc.
08:14:23 Members part of that already or not Well, let's see Thomas Can you help me out here?
08:14:35 I'm trying to remember let's see is amy on the Tsc.
08:14:40 That gaming is on Tsc. right or no no amy's on the board.
08:14:46 Yeah, I I sorry I I have a difficult time for me remembering who everyone who's on the Tsc.
08:14:54 Who's also attending the meeting Well, kenny You've been on on those calls.
08:14:58 Do we have any Tsc. members on those calls? Yeah.
08:15:02 I attended the first thing I think andreas I should have been there more often.
08:15:06 That's correct. but you can put me there. yeah yeah No, I I was.
08:15:18 It's always a problem on mondays to join here. so, but definitely I I i'm interested as as you have heard.
08:15:26 I mean also with the portal stuff I think an af I think as i'm always also engaged in the old O.
08:15:34 M team, I think that would be, and in the integration team.
08:15:37 So I think that yeah, put me on the list here, you see.
08:15:44 Thank you. Okay, So I'm. moving the cnn passport is already led by one Kc.
08:15:53 Members, which is honey. So I believe, honey, you are still good to be your Fc.
08:15:58 Members from Pill. yeah, yeah. if you let me do so. Well, we have 2 good, but we can have a backup as well.
08:16:08 But I I want at least, and Psc. Denver every place. Yeah.
08:16:12 Okay, as you know i'm still driving so I take it that one you are twice coming, so it would be nice to have a backup on the Cnf.
08:16:24 Because you already know, Mac Representative, all the what we have done.
08:16:28 So maybe we need a second Tc. chunk for the Cnf.
08:16:31 And I know we have a lot Cfc members. we we are station.
08:16:37 We have Timo So I don't know if we can add a second.
08:16:42 Is he champion So you don't have everything to to do, honey?
08:16:50 Yeah, it's better to have a backup Okay, so I cannot make it or anything.
08:16:57 So, Timo, are you ready to step up Lucy pulled honey?
08:17:05 Yeah, that's possible. Come, on this this this combination has been a freely working well for the Lfa event, so you cannot let your peer alone. Right?
08:17:17 You need to support anything else now that you put it that way.
08:17:21 Yes. you cannot see the right away, all right. So how do you set up?
08:17:27 If you need anybody else on the Mac but i'm thinking is the whole of all of us to promote ownup.
08:17:34 Generally speaking, I was just putting here because you are Max representative for the budget.
08:17:41 I think it's my duty to to support that so as your Tsc.
08:17:47 Members. so it's not an issue to support skinny although it's more menace stuff.
08:17:54 I would do nothing in this. Because yeah, I mean the implementation is you right?
08:18:04 Yeah, do you own your own? Yeah, at at this point, unless the Tsc.
08:18:06 Wants to change the badging criteria, were set and It's basically an administrative practice, so that would fall on to an Lf.
08:18:15 Member, and then I have a lot of people extremely interested to continue the work in this space, and and I will need to do a nice and Dover.
08:18:28 So i've already nominate the piece reply on that, and I know why I cannot just let it go.
08:18:34 I need also to to that the official meeting, to to resume the discussion, but I don't put my name by default, and then the last one is to support of Ptl and i've already some candidating in mind but I
08:18:52 don't want to claim I think one of our Major champion that I want to really see if he would accept to be cracked on that.
08:19:01 It's really with the Internet base Then would you be one of our Tc.
08:19:08 Champion cover some piece of it because you are really progressing with Ibm, and I was thinking that you could be comfortable, champion.
08:19:22 It's Ben is there with us I knew it was of the beginning Dang!
08:19:34 Oh, yes, still on the call Then can you hear me with my book and voice?
08:19:55 You know how. Yes, sorry I am milk so would you mind to be one of our champions.
08:20:04 It's a lot of that. you are really of champions already, for Ibm intern base networking.
08:20:12 So I would say, will be still off. jumping in the stages isn't.
