PTL Updates



  • Update on removal of ODL RESTCONF code, per TSC licensing exception agreement 10/27/22.

    • The TSC agreed to the licensing exception with the understanding that the ODL RESTCONF code would be removed by the end of 2023

    • Good news is – we removed the code.  

    • Bad news – gating & smoke tests fail.   

    • Alternatives

      • move to New Delhi with RFC 8040 version 

      • move to bierman version  (unreasonable effort)

      • back port to the old version  (unreasonable effort)

    • both Bierman and RFC 8040 versions are in London. can look at an upgrade path to Montreal
