  1. Create a Wiki page defining the scope of a PoC on the approach for moving to a document store approach. Liam Fallon AFTER M4
    • Policy types/Policies/Node Types/Node Templates are first order items
    • Data Types have a scope of a first order item, so a data type definition only applies in the scope of a policy type or node type definition
    • We should keep our current APIs, all changes should be internal
    • We must provide an upgrade pat to the new data structure and a rollback to the current structure
  2. The JIRAs on HA and on Database backup/restore will be reorganised  Liam Fallon TBD
  3. Create JIRAs for testing Liam Fallon TBD
    • Testing is due to be finished by RC, see Release Process
    • S3P testing, integration testing, smoke testing and pairwise testing

Notes

  1. Handling of Artifacts for K8S; interaction between Clamp, DCAE, DCAE-MOD, and Chart Museum
    • The OOM chart museum is used by DCAE, DCAE starts an OOM chart museum and loads its charts into the museum so that DCAE microservices can bootstrap
    • DCAE-MOD loads charts for microservices into the chart museum when it composes them
    • The TCA service template is nearly complete.
    • There is no bandwidth to do further testing on the TCA microservice
    • We will store the TCA Control Loop service template as an example in the CLAMP repo as an ACM example
  2. PoC on document store approach for TOSCA artifacts, deferred until after M4.
