from murat turpcu, turk telekom to Kenny Paul (LF) (privately):

hi kenny

from murat turpcu, turk telekom to Kenny Paul (LF) (privately):

how are you

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

workaround for nexus3 routing issue is to run your own proxy

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Cloud+Native+Deployment#CloudNativeDeployment-NexusProxy

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

and also run the prepull on all 13+1 vms - https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Cloud+Native+Deployment#CloudNativeDeployment-DockerPrepull example at line 174 of https://gerrit.onap.org/r/#/c/75422/7/deploy/cd.sh

https://jira.onap.org/browse/TSC-79

from Viswa to Kenny Paul (LF) (privately):

@Kenny - Not sure how to mark my attendance. So pinging you here....

from Keong to Everyone:

can the camera zoom out a bit?

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

Michael O'Brien of the Logging and OOM projects will participate in any deployment work for AWS and Azure  - i regularly use both - less so the managed k8s service - more bare VM clusters

from Keong to Everyone:

Could/Should there be some form of checkstyle or jenkins verify job for updating RST files when JIRA stories are completed? or perhaps part of Gerrit review?

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

log team is in - the logging team does "document as you go" with daily updates - but in the wiki

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

will try to more more to RTD which I have been avoiding due to the limitations on editabilty velocity, sharing, commenting, linking - but I understand the release focus for RTD

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

If we had a wiki like toolchain - I would abandon the wiki

from Keong to Everyone:

the corresponding question is how easy is the migration from version X to X+1, esp if fixes are not backported to the earlier version

from Keong to Everyone:

use OOM to deploy different docker images by overriding some YAML

from Jason Hunt to Everyone:

Is there a "manifest" of all projects and their images in an ONAP release?  Is it just the yaml files?

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

yes, there it is in sync - getting links

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

https://jira.onap.org/browse/TSC-86

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

https://git.onap.org/integration/plain/version-manifest/src/main/resources/docker-manifest.csv?h=$BRANCH

from Brian Freeman to Everyone:

back to Eric's comment - agree that we need to either strengthen pair wise (which ends up being a sub-set of E2E) or do a n E2E regression for the project so they can update their manifest entry and not force the other projects to go through an up-rev

from CATHERINE LEFEVRE to Everyone:

#question/concern about configuration management

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

drives the docker prepull - and should be the source of truth in sync with the yamls

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

https://git.onap.org/integration/plain/version-manifest/src/main/resources/docker-manifest.csv?h=$BRANCH

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

used for CD testing

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

AAF is only an example here

https://git.onap.org/oom/tree/kubernetes/aaf/charts/aaf-service/values.yaml?h=casablanca#n28

image: onap/aaf/aaf_service:2.1.8

drives

onap/aaf/aaf_service,2.1.8

from CATHERINE LEFEVRE to Everyone:

#certification will be reviewed on a case per case basis, pair-wise testing not sufficient in any case; additional E2E regression might be required

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

right a CVE may impact the schema or config - impacting the vnf

from CATHERINE LEFEVRE to Everyone:

next presentation will cover upgrade build; this presentation today is only about maintenance release

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

right -  in the context of reduced impact for the VNF - I agree we are ok on minimal impact on the VNF - we set a threashold

from Alexis de Talhouët to Everyone:

have to drop. Thanks all

from Keong to Kenny Paul (LF) (privately):

usually the code is in reaction to some incident. have there been incidents?

from Jason Hunt to Everyone:

#action We can have a TSC e-mail vote on the following:  "The ONAP TSC recommends that the LFN Board adopt a Code of Conduct across LF Networking using the draft language provided as a starting point"

from Keong to Everyone:

@michael obrien will you be updating to CMR? AAI has some fixes for startup

from Michael O'Brien to Everyone:

For log I would like to reduce the replicaset from 5 to 3 or 1  -  testing if the elk stack still works under 1 - I would like to reduce the maxthreads of ls to 1-2 from 3  but indexing needs at least 3  - issue is for vms with 4 vCores 3/4 is worse the 3/8 for standard 8 vCores - where AAI and LS are co-located on the same vm by chance - k8s labels will only work in dublin - to casablanca MR - only some OOM doc changes  for the MR
