06:13:13 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : #topic Dublin Scope
06:13:45 From Michael O'Brien : I recommend we stop using spreadsheets - and put all tables into the wiki directly - so we can track changes, edit, comment - link to etc.....
06:14:30 From Alex’s iPhone 6 : +1
06:15:31 From Kenny Paul (LFN) to NingSo (Privately) : seen. thanks
06:15:41 From Alex’s iPhone 6 : easier to have full transparency this way...
06:16:39 From Gildas Lanilis : Dublin Release Requirements wiki page: https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Dublin+Release+Requirements
06:20:42 From Michael O'Brien : drafts can go on the wiki - hence edit-in-place is easier in the wiki
06:26:10 From margaret chiosi : There was an approach proposed in Montreal on modularity which folks are following.
06:26:48 From margaret chiosi : So not sure I agree that modularity nothing has been done - BUT as to agreement on the approach - different discussions because not all was in the room when presented and there was no debate or push back on approach
06:26:49 From Stephen Terrill : That is correct Margaret. Now its just to confirm the resourcing.
06:28:06 From Dan Timoney : Is that approach documented somewhere for those of us unable to attend the Montreal meeting ?
06:28:51 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : #topic Nexus
06:30:30 From Sai Seshu : Wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year
06:30:31 From Alex’s iPhone 6 : @margaret - there was pushback. it was ignored. those who objected moved on.
06:31:01 From Lingli : Can you hear me?
06:31:41 From Michael O'Brien : summary: 75G in 40 min is normal now at 40Mb/s instead of 1 from the 17th to 22nd - note that openlab will still take 3 hours - this is a restriction on the windriver lab - best practice is to create your own nexus3 proxy and saturate it/your-vms in the cluster via the docker_prepull.sh script - all details on TSC-79
06:31:43 From Michael O'Brien : https://jira.onap.org/browse/TSC-79
06:31:57 From Michael O'Brien : https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Cloud+Native+Deployment#CloudNativeDeployment-NexusProxy
06:32:24 From Viswa KSP : @Kenny : I assume there will be some way for remote attendees to dial into DDF. Correct?
06:33:37 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : we may not be able to provide bridges for all of the breakouts, but the webinar is already set up for the auditorium sessions. I will be sending email out.
06:34:10 From Viswa KSP : Thanks for the info, Kenny.
06:34:16 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : #topic Generic TOSCA Parser
06:34:59 From Alex’s iPhone 6 : agree with a common parser approach. however microservice based approach should be re-examined.
06:35:53 From Viswa KSP : Does this parser implementation, be based on the recommendations drawn from TOSCA TF of Arch sub-committee?
06:38:14 From Lingli : version control
06:38:19 From Lingli : got it
06:38:20 From Ramki Krishnan : I am inline with Alex. Not sure microservice based approach provides any real advantage.
06:38:43 From Lingli : sure.
06:38:49 From Lingli : Thanks Alex.
06:39:36 From margaret chiosi : @dan timony Kenny would know - I would suggest looking at montreal meeting website or talk with Vimal since he has the overall slides presented (and he presented
06:39:47 From Lingli : Assumption is libs would still be provided for flexibility and up to choice of consumers.
06:42:29 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Dublin+Architecture+Planning+Meeting#DublinArchitecturePlanningMeeting-Agenda. link to recordings at the toip, slides are in the agenda section.
06:42:43 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : #topic VNF Certification
06:43:36 From margaret chiosi : @alex - if I remember correctly at the actual presentation - there was no push back. I guess in the end if folks have a solid counterproposal, only way to get traction. So the approach is to take two current ONAP components and in Dublin start creating a set of modularity (or microservices) components. If folks want to do the clean slate approach to modularity - then we need a group to create the counter proposal details vs suiggest the.
06:44:12 From margaret chiosi : sorry vs suggest the approach of clean slate
06:44:44 From Viswa KSP : One basic question : What does this certification actually certify? Does this say that, this VNF will be successfully onboarded & Catalogued inside SDC? Or even certify runtime behaviour?
06:45:25 From Michael O'Brien(Amdocs, LOG) : For VNF certification - will add to TSC-25 (CD pipeline work with LF) https://jira.onap.org/browse/TSC-25
06:47:55 From Lingli : #info Lingli, CMCC
06:48:13 From Kenny Paul (LFN) to Lingli (Privately) : thank you
06:48:38 From Victor Gao : @visawa, vnfsdk already integrated with sdc this means after vnfsdk certification , sdc could use the package to onboard
06:49:05 From Victor Gao : vnfsdk certify the vnfd package
06:49:23 From Victor Gao : mainly comes from vnfrequirements
06:50:12 From Viswa KSP : @Victor Gao: Thnx. So it doesn’t have to do anything w.r.t functionality of VNF and runtime cloud configuration . Correct?
06:52:35 From Victor Gao : no, long term vnfsdk also include the vnf lifecycle test and function test
06:53:12 From Victor Gao : I can share the info after the meeting @visawa
06:53:45 From Viswa KSP : Thank you, Victor.
07:05:36 From Catherine Lefevre : TSC- +1 VNFRQTS will be the project where we will discuss VNF Certifications (not the implementation; 0 neutral; -1 disagree

07:09:29 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : #topic Modeling
07:12:39 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : #topic Edge Coordinator role
07:16:28 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Technical+Community+Coordinators
07:17:26 From Lingli : All the subcommittee and coordinator roles are defined not specific to a technical domain.
07:17:32 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/ONAP+Technical+Community+Document#ONAPTechnicalCommunityDocument-4.4.4Subcommitteevs.coordinator
07:17:59 From Lingli : This one is a little different, and is domain specific and overlapping with the existing roles.
07:19:04 From Kenny Paul (LFN) : PTL definition: https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/ONAP+Technical+Community+Document#ONAPTechnicalCommunityDocument-3.1.3ProjectTechnicalLeader:
07:21:08 From Lingli : It is not clear to me that how this coordinator would work with arch, modeling or usecase subcommittees.
07:21:32 From Lingli : It is also not clear to me that how this coordinator would work with other SDO coordinator.
07:22:13 From Lingli : coordinator is a contacting point for cross-org collaboration.
07:23:05 From Lingli : Take K8s for example, currently do we have one? would the edge coordinator take the responsibilty for collaboration only for edge or the all related to K8s and ONAP collaboration?
07:33:08 From Catherine Lefevre : #action - review TCC coordinators - new election
07:38:25 From Srini Addepalli (Intel) : Need to drop for another meeting
07:38:44 From Ramki Krishnan : Thank you All, need to drop.
07:39:32 From Catherine Lefevre : #action - Alla/Srini - will work on review TCC coordinator role (including Edge proposal) and will come back to the TSC team
07:40:28 From Catherine Lefevre : Thank you all for the feedback provided on the different topics shared today. I look forward to meeting you next week in Paris ...
