  • tl;dr;

    • deploy chartmuseum as part of OOM

    • push charts into chartmuseum

    • use a new script for now, other option to be more deeply looked at

• outstanding issues:

  • why?

  • reason : preferred option by crunchy data

  • but google cloud states (https://cloud.google.com/kubernetes-engine/docs/concepts/persistent-volumes#deployments_vs_statefulsets):

    • Even Deployments with one replica using ReadWriteOnce volume are not recommended.

  • maybe move back to sts

    • basic one first

    • see if update strategy works here also

• some components doesn't have helmignore (or have them without components) (@Andreas Geißler )

  • it may create that are too big for "nothing"

• default storage class: update doc to explain we can use "real" default class by giving empty "string" for class name. (" ") (@Marat Salakhutdinov)
