Migration from maven plugins to Dockerfiles

The issue of migrating from maven plugins to Dockerfiles has been brought up in a number of ocassions:

Although some of the discussions have been captured here: https://jira.onap.org/browse/INT-548, the issue must be afforded the proper attention.

We will come back to discuss the problem in more detail, decide on a solution and create the corresponding JIRA issues.

ONAP JIRA Workflow and item status

Team has adopted the following workflow, which is consistent with ONAP's JIRA workflow:

• SUBMITTED

• CLOSED

 Any blocking issues?

 Migration to Dockerhub

• @Paul-Ionut Vaduva and @Brian Hedstrom are leading the discussions with LF.

• The issue doesn't block the footprint minimization not the creation of multiplatform individual images.

• However, the issue will prevent the CI/CD pipeline from building multiplatform container images.
