ONAP modeling subcommittee is currently working on the information model and data model of the second release of ONAP (Beijing).

The target is to finish the draft specifications of information model and data model on March 8th (Milestone 3) and implement the specifications before the code freezes (Milestone 4, undertermined yet).

During the recent resource IM/DM work, we reference several specifications and drafts provided by the ETSI ISG NFV, including:

  • NFV-IFA 011 VNF Descriptor and Packaging Specification (v2.3.1 and v2.4.1)

  • NFV-IFA 014 Network Service Templates Specification (v2.4.1)

  • NFV-SOL 001  NFV Descriptors based on TOSCA specification (draft)

To fulfill the requirements of the use cases in ONAP, some feedback are given based on the above specifications/drafts are more than welcome.
