The following is status of a different use cases/requirements extracted from the use cases

 

  1. VoLTE remaining requirements (auto and manual scaling, generic implementation) – no questions raised, all needed information is present. Need to cross-reference EPA requirements. Presentation from Zhao  is attached

 

      2. Change Management – no questions raised, all needed information is present. Presentation from the team  is attached. vFW will be leveraged for VNFs/showcasing of the functionality

 

      3. VNF scaling out –

 

  • Team will continue working this week to see if additional contributing companies can be added and if vFW use case can be leveraged for VNFs/showcasing of the functionality

  • Service and VNF – both scenarios will be considered

  • 2 different sub-cases will be considered – same data center and different data centers (and then usage of OOF for the latter)

  • Team will provide update this week

 

    4. 5G – we had discussion, Vimal will update ppt to include more functional description on Optimization and on what is planned for network slicing (complex/nested services support) and provide ppt by tomorrow. Requirements are generic, to match any future use case. Also, there is a need to cross-reference EPA requirements

  • PNF  - R-vCPE will be leveraged

  • Optimization

  • Network slicing

 

    5. Enterprise vCPE – Luman has presented the related requirements

  • Luman will update the ppt to exclude Service Capability management (which is proposed as a project currently) and keep requirements R40-42

  • Needed VNF/PNF will be added to the ppt

  • Need to cross-reference EPA requirements

  • Luman will provide update this week

 

   6. Centralized Parsers Distribution – Atul will provide update by tomorrow, this wil be shared by Usecasub emailing list

 

   7. R-vCPE leftovers (requirements R59 and R60, https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DW/Merged+list+of+R2+functional+requirement+candidates ) Gil, Vimal and Yoav will work jointly to make sure these requirements are already covered by another sets of requirements, there will be no standalone category

   8. Service Capability Management – is submitted as a new project currently

   9. External Controller – is discussed currently by microservices sub-team under architecture subcommittee. There are no functional requirements prepared

 

 

Zhao, Vimal, Luman – please work with Alex Vul to cross-reference EPA related requirements in your presentations. EPA presentation from Alex is also attached for your convenience.
