- ETSI support for CNF model
- ETSI IFA011 v3.3.1 & v4.1.1 Changes to support OsContainer based VNFs
- background:
- there's a strong desire to support os containers within ONAP
- CNF taskforce has decided to align with ETSI for the models
- the version of the spec chosen is v3.3.1 and v4.1.1 (to be publised later)
- plan:
- no code implement for v3.3.1 new features, only incorporate the latest changes of the spec
- support CNF package onboarding and basic CNF LCM, e.g., instantation/termination, etc.
- update SDC AID / AAI model to implement CNF support
- blue and green parts in the diagram are new changes to the model
- blue parts indicate package update/upgrade support
- green parts indicate CNF support
- comment:
- backward compatibility consideration, support v2.6.1 (implemented in Dublin), which versions are to support is FFS
- for package upgrade, there could be limitations for the lowest version that can be upgraded
- CNF part will be presented next week, and Fred will help refine the package part according to today's discussion
