Brief of the new designer’s usability testing.
Usability Testing is a way to see how easy to use CDS UI is by testing it with real users. Users are asked to complete tasks, typically while they are being observed by a researcher (facilitator), to see where they encounter problems and experience confusion.

Duration: 60–90 minutes
Agenda:
- Introduction
- Pre-test questionnaire
- Test tasks
- Follow-up questions
- Post-test questionnaire

- Other UX issues (usefulness, desirability, additional needs/requirements)
- Recommend solutions
- Key findings
Testing Tools:
- Zoom for desktop (screen and face video recording)
- Google Forms

Regarding the accessibility of CDS UI during the test, the participants don’t need a special environment. You will access the application through a regular web page that we will provide during the test session. Below are some guidelines for the setup and tools we require before the test.
- Dedicated space for the test: Space should be located somewhere quiet, where you won’t be disturbed by other co-workers
- Desktop or Laptop with enough power and high-speed connection. The machine should include a camera that has the privilege to capture face and audio
- Zoom application installed for screen sharing and recording (including face recording). You should give Zoom the privilege for video and audio sharing
- Access to Google Forms
Please consider having a comfy chair as well and you can bring your coffee to the session.
Our goal is to determine your satisfaction with CDS UI and how much it meets your expectations. We need to make sure everything works the way it was indented and to provide your (our users) a better user experience.
