According to TSC Dublin Release Highlights:  Dublin Release Highlights

The major highlights of ONAP Modeling Subcommittee are listed below:

In Dublin, MODELING delivered the following:

  • VNFD Information Model, support ETSI NFV IFA011 v.2.5.1
  • PNFD Information Model, based on ETSI NFV IFA014 v2.5.1
  • VNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model ( ETSI NFV SOL001 v 2.5.1) implemented by SDC
    • VNFD TOSCA based onboading data model has been implemented in VFC

    • VNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model has been used by vCPE use case in Dublin
    • VNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model is aligned with IM
  • PNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model (ETSI NFV SOL001 v2.5.1) implemented by SDC.

    • PNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model has been used by PnP use case in Dublin
    • PNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model is aligned with IM
  • Enhanced Service Modeling
    • Nested Service Model via Composite Pattern (i.e. Composite Service and Atomic Service Information Model)
    • Shared Service Model via Selection Filter and Service Profile (i.e. Network Slice Model)

    • Shared Service Model via Selection Filter (to support Network Slice management) implemented by SDC (Draft Model under discussion) Enhanced Service Information Model for Nested and Shared Services (Note: This page includes an integral model solution, among which only Filter part has been implemented by SDC)
  • Use case support:
    • VNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model has been used by vCPE use case in Dublin
    • PNFD TOSCA based onboarding data model has been used by PnP use case in Dublin
