  - Deutsche Telekom adopted ONAP core components as part of their TNAP automation solution in their production environment this year. Based on specific use cases, components such as SO, AAI, CPS, CDS and Policy, Portal-NG, and others are being selected; Development is centered around SO, AAI, CDS/CPS and Policy Framework.
    To support this, ONAP streamlining efforts and OOM script enhancements for building and deploying individual network orchestration functions using CD-based workflows are underway. Additionally, further integration and development efforts are focused on NonRT-RIC functions and SMO integration. Close collaboration with the O-RAN Alliance and O-RAN Software Community (SC) is essential to align SMO development and avoid duplication of efforts across O-RAN SC, ONAP, and Nephio. Deutsche Telekom also supports the disaggregation of the ONAP platform towards a more project-oriented community model, similar to CNCF.
  - DT is developing a SMO solution, which enables S-RAN automation e.g. for NW slicing, RAN optimization including NonRT-RIC / rApp capabilties and aims to manage the O-RAN network stack in Deutsche Telekom.
  China Mobile (input from Keguang He)
  - China Mobile has contributed to large model-related developments in the New Delhi and Oslo releases of ONAP, introducing large model technologies into the ONAP community to enable more intelligent decision-making, optimization capabilities, and enhanced customer experiences in network orchestration. Additionally, China Mobile has provided an intent-driven, end-to-end autonomous network reference implementation as a demonstration application.
  - Notably, in the Oslo release, China Mobile developed the Knowledge Assistant Project based on the MaaS (Model-as-a-Service) platform. This project includes capabilities for knowledge base management, knowledge assistant management, and interfaces for invoking knowledge assistants. By encapsulating large model capabilities into standardized service interfaces, the project reduces the barriers to adopting large model technologies. This initiative expands ONAP’s application scope in network automation and lays the groundwork for future innovations in large models and MaaS-related technologies.
  China Telecom (input from Dong Wang)
  - China Telecom is a founding member of ONAP. From R8 to R14, the company focused on research and development of intent-based networking to support autonomous networks, particularly through the CCVPN and E2E Slicing use cases.
  - Currently, China Telecom is focusing on 6G network research, aiming to enhance orchestration capabilities by integrating network, sensing, intelligence, and computing. In 2024, the company built a lightweight orchestration platform inspired by the ONAP architecture. Now, it is developing an end-to-end experimental platform to support both research and standardization efforts for 6G.

  - Ramesh's input for Policy:
    - Ericsson's new SMO offering is known as EIAP (Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform) where the non-Real time RIC features in that are provided by EIC (Ericsson Intelligent Controller) component. EIAP aims to provide advanced automation and orchestration capabilities for diverse RAN environments (both traditional and ORAN).

      Policy-clamp component from ONAP Policy Framework plays a major role inside EIC functionality in EIAP. Policy-clamp is responsible for the lifecycle management of rApps in EIC. It works together with EIC adapter microservices for the complete lifecycle management of rApps.
      Apart from this, EIAP is also interested to use the opa-pdp component from ONAP's Policy Framework in their coordination-management component . This is at the initial level of discussion at the moment. But opa-pdp has a strong potential to be used in the coordination-management use case.
    - CPS/NCMP, which is part of Ericsson EIAP, provides the transparent proxy to multiple RAN OAM CM SMOS. It exposes the 3GPP ProvMnS, which serves as the foundation for RAN OAM CM.

Tech Mahindra is a services-driven organization that collaborates closely with its customers to deliver tailored technology solutions, enabling them to achieve their desired use cases effectively. In the past, Tech Mahindra has partnered with leading global enterprises, including AT&T, Bell Canada and Telus, to drive innovation and transformation using ONAP. Currently, the company is working with Deutsche Telekom on ORAN (Open Radio Access Network) integration, showcasing its commitment to advancing next-generation network technologies.

- DMaaP MR will be replaced with Kafka in future releases. Capgemini is currently working on this feature based on our discussion with ONAP community

  - DT is productizing some of the selected ONAP core components early next year in their TNAP production environment
- Declarative and Intent-based component operations by the Repository-based Network Automation : see the ideas from ONAP Architecture Evolution - 2025.pdf
Make ONAP core components more autonomous and ready for use by both ONAP, LF and other external users
- - During New Delhi and Oslo releases, CPS and Policy achieved the OpenSSF Gold Badging status. Kudos to the team!
