During service lifecycle, operators will need to perform several maintenance taska variety of maintenance tasks. While ONAP components provide significant amount of functionality, quite often this functionality is not easily accessible to users of the platform. For example, in order to upgrade all instances of a specific type of VNF, which is a very common operational activity, an operator would have to use functionality provided by A&AI and App-C/VFC to perform the task.

Having component functionality exposed (perhaps through a SDC UI) in a way that will allow operators to perform such tasks quickly would make ONAP easier to use and facilitate adoption.
