Jakarta release schedule updated with recommendations from working group. Note that the milestone dates were previously approved by the TSC on Sept 30.  These have not been changed.

  • suggestion to lock the repo in advance of any migration to ensure that no new patches are submitted via garret
  • when pilot is complete TSC will need to decide of what system will be used by the entire community will use - a split solution cannot be supported over the long term

  • have only seen a few requirements submitted for Jakarta
  • Jakarta release - functional requirements proposed list
  • ~8 requirements for Istanbul were reduces in scope and would logically be completed in Jakarta
  • Need confirmation from requirements owners that they will be continuing in the next release
  •  David McBride will reach out to the 8 requirement owners to remind them about the process.
